Responsibilities

  • Improve systems by studying current practices.
  • Work with process owners and users to translate their requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria that will support development, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Act as a liaison between process owners and external consultants.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
  • Supervise external consultants and partners throughout the implementation of the project.
  • Facilitate the inspection of requirements to achieve formal signoff/agreement by internal teams.
  • Coordinate upgrades & new functionality draft with internal and external teams and lead the implementation and validation phases.
  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, training users.
  • Continuously gain an understanding of Vortex business operations and provide knowledge to enhance technical business processes.

Skills and Competencies

  •   Aptitude to lead projects and incidents to resolution in partnership with internal and external resources.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and requirements and orchestrate buy-in of stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in Gap Analysis and Requirements Gathering.
  • Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong understanding of Manufacturing environments (discreet manufacturing).
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good understanding of software architecture/development and documentation.
  • Having worked with Dynamics 365 and Business Central a plus

Experience and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business administration or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a System Analyst or IT Project Manager.
