Responsibilities
- Work at optimizing production and assist in solving technical and operational problems.
- Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Anticipate future needs and make recommendations to the team on future improvements to be implemented.
- Perform work process analysis.
- Participate in the implementation of New Manufacturing Equipment.
- Design layout and setup manufacturing workflow.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in the production ramp-up planning
Plant Layout Modification: - Analyze current plant layout and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement new plant layouts to optimize production flow and efficiency.
- Ensure that all modifications comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Skills and Competencies

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience and Training
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Member of OIQ – an asset
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and industrial engineering.
- Willingness to travel as needed and ability to travel to USA
