After noticing that summers in Rosemount, Minnesota were exceptionally dry, Parks and Recreation Director, Dan Schultz, announced the city’s first water attraction. The new Splashpad® and Water Journey™ feature has become Rosemount’s very own oasis and has served as a great way for kids to socialize while exploring the science of water movement. The absence of standing water has eliminated the need for lifeguards, and through the use of hand and foot activators, water consumption is reduced to a minimum.
