The Waterpark at Monon Community Center, operated by the Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation (CCPR), is a popular aquatic facility drawing visitors of all ages and lifestyles to Central Indiana. CCPR’s goal is to add a new feature every two years so The Waterpark retains existing users and attracts first-time visitors while providing fresh and exciting experiences. They replaced an older activity pool structure with a two-storey Elevations™, while fitting into the original footprint. The new activity pool structure is larger and offers more fun features to create a “wow” experience for even the smallest visitors. The Waterpark has also been recognized nationally with an Excellence in Inclusion Award by providing inclusive participation for people with disabilities. CCPR’s new Elevations has dramatically improved its customers’ experience at The Waterpark.
