This project was over three years in the making, transforming a green space adjacent to a community center and playground. The Township wanted to create a Splashpad® unlike any other in the area, touching on the full spectrum of play experiences, while appealing to everyone in the family. Large above-ground features like the Superwave, Spider, Pine Tree, and Helio No6 provide iconic crowd-gathering areas, while the toddler bay mixes gentle above-ground features with ground sprays.
Funding was secured through a DCNR grant, public and private funds, and then multiple community fundraising initiatives. The Splashpad® was purchased through the COSTARS cooperative purchasing program.
