The award-winning Playa Montroig Camping Resort is a popular destination for campers visiting the Costa Dorada region. The resort sought to capitalize on the popularity of aquatic play amenities to set itself apart and appeal particularly to families with young children. With the help of Vortex, they introduced a large Splashpad® and Elevations™ structure on an under-utilized site adjacent to their pool and waterslide complex. They now have a dedicated space for young children, their most important guests, to explore and enjoy the wonder of water. Playa Montroig believes their new Splashpad is a benchmark for campsites and resorts in the region, providing a safe, interactive environment that is attracting younger families. They also anticipate more national and international tourists in the coming years.
